Ricerca

La Fondazione Italiana Macula ETS promuove studi e sperimentazioni rivolti ad accrescere le attuali conoscenze sulle malattie della retina, del vitreo e della macula al fine di migliorarne la cura e favorirne la prevenzione. La Fondazione collabora con istituti clinici e di ricerca italiani e stranieri. Ha una convenzione per la ricerca nel campo delle maculopatie con la Clinica Oculistica dell’Università di Genova, con la Clinica Oculistica dell’Università di Perugia e con  con la Clinica Oculistica dell’Università di Ancona. Sostiene l’attività di questi centri con fondi per l’acquisizione di strumenti di avanguardia e  con borse di studio per giovani ricercatori.
